Whether this is your first visit to been2nene or you're a regular reader of these pages you are more than welcome. This site was first constructed to keep touch with the people I knew at Nene and re-find some of the people I'd lost. It was aimed at being somewhere to reminisce about Nene College between 1990 and 1995. Within six months it had doubled in size and re-vamped, while more and more people were finding the site. Photographic contributions started to come in and then I recieved an email from Dave Coxon (89-92) who was just about to build his own post-nene site until he found been2nene. He contributed greatly in terms of both content and driving me on to organise a reunion. Within a few weeks the site had doubled again in size in terms of images, hits and contacts. It has continued to grow at an ever increasing rate and I am writing this note as I redesign the site into the format you see it now. We are currently getting over 2000 individuals through the site each month and have over 500 names on the contact board.
You're In The Right Place
You're in the right place if you attended Nene College or University College Northampton between 1972 and the present day. All former students are welcome to join us, whether you graduated or simply spent a term pretending to study before getting kicked out (Mikee).This site is a zine, it is unofficial and is not tied to UCN.
