Headline news is of an attack on a student in the Kettering Road area. There is also the further debait of the education cuts program. On a lighter note there is a comic article about a horserace where the names of the horses are 'Big Dick', 'White Knickers', 'lovely legs' and so on, you could probably write the piece yourself and needless to say 'Big Dick' made a spurt to win by a short head.
