The Freshers Edition is often one of the best and in 1994 it was no different. In fact it was no different to the same issue 12 months earlier, 24 months earlier etc! What message can you give to freshers other than, wear a condom and when you've spent your grant at the end of week 2 get a job or a loan. It was a time when new halls had sprung up all over campus and Oasis v Blur was the big debate of the day. There was a very informative section by Steve Waring on Drugs, use and abuse there of. However, the best bit about this edition was the cut out and keep poster of the NCSU comittee and staff in the centerfold!
